Finally had it with this clutch

Hello all. I just wanted to vent about my clutch, it was chattering like a lot of people have complained about but recently I started to notice that when I am releasing the clutch to go uphill from a full stop the clutch vibrates and hesitates before it starts rolling normally. So my warranty expires in 6mos - I bit the bullet and took it to my dealership. 8 hrs later i get a call from the service guy stating that it may be my throwout bearing and they might as well replace clutch. My all important question came up "is this under warranty?" he is hoping this would be all he would need to do and it should be covered. Wish me luck - I will find out tomorrow what the deal is. Thank for reading.

nice to hear about that throw out bearing repair. Hope they'll change out that clutch for you. If they say they'll cover the labor if you'll pitch in for the clutch, just let them do it.

i'm at about 65k and no problems yet on my clutch.

I swear the Maxima back in the day had the smoothest clutch ever. Even after driving my G for a year 1st and 2nd just never seem to be smooth. And ive pretty much had only MT cars. I guess its not just me

There wasn't alot of hills where I am so when I had to hang on one trying to inch forward is when I really noticed that I have to rev high while chattering away along with alot of vibration. I will post update as soon as I hear from them again today.

I complained about my chattering, almost like marbles and my dealer said they couldn't find it. Im not having too much luck with my dealer. I may have to look for another one, warranty expires soon so crap.
