not trying to be a d!ck.... but wouldn't a question about headlights and axles be better suited for 2 threads, one pertaining to headlights, and the other pertaining to axles?

you're new so dont worry about it.... just for future reference

Are you sure it's not the axle clicking TSB? search for that.

Anyway, OP is lucky, I need a new clutch soon but it's not under Infiniti warranty or my extended warranty. Infiniti said they would keep the warranty on the tranny if I had them install the stillen clutch....stillen doesn't make a clutch for G coupe. They said since stillen develops everything on the car they are building it for that's hy they warrant it. Since JWT does the same would they maybe warrant the tranny with one of those?

Lucky bastard, I'm still on my original clutch and hitting 125K miles soon. I can feel the clutch wearing off a little now, but ofcourse the shifting still hard as a virgin. Question thou and I don't want to start another thread, will it be smoother when shift after replace a new aftermarket clutch? Or is it up to the gear box?

To answer the question regarding pedal feel before getting it fixed - yes it does feel like warped rotors catching at points. Sorry for the delay guys, had a glitch when I was leaving the dealership. So i am getting on the highway and shifting 1,2,3,4,...wtf where is 5????? got into 6th still where is 5th? Agghhh. Turned around back to dealership and drop it off AGAIN. Alright so the next day I called to get a status it is done, thanks for the call - they were busy so they said. They had reassemble shift linkage. Finally a test drive - couple of hundred miles this weekend, clutch feels smoother with an occasional slowness on the pedal when going back up last 2ins. All gears working. Wish me luck.

i tried to get it covered under the warraty in a dealership here in Ottawa Canada but they wouldn't cover my clutch even tough i told the guy that i have a receipt from another friend of mine which shows the clutch has been changed under the warranty. will try another dealer and if it doesn't work i will try to email infiniti/nissan and as them why i don't get the fair service. but the service guy in the infiniti dealer told me that my friend was really lucky and there is no way he can put it under warranty.

JWT Clutch and Flywheel, minimal chatter and smooth engagement. Ben0878 and I changed mine this past weekend. All's I can say is my clutch pedal feels suoer smooth and the responsiveness on the throttle is quite noticeable.

Your friend was lucky. Clutchs, brake pads, all the parts that by it's use it wears away won't be covered by warranty. So if ya need a new one anyway, go after market. Personally I'm getting JWT when it comes time.
