So whats the main difference between the two...i have a stock setup and will only be putting on the stillen exhaust and JWT intake.
The brand is generic OEM from Worldpac from my shop but i dont really know the diferrence..

Stage One: $310.00 Complete Package
or I can just go for theJWT...btw, where is everyone buying thier JWT clutches?

OK i was just quoted the below from my shop
Exedy OEM clutch: 200 Shipped
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch, 391.26 shipped:
Stage 1 is full face organic disc, BUT, the pressure plate is actually modified with higher clamp load, and a torque capacity of 375 lbs/tq.
The OEM clutch kit is basically just a replacement of the stock clutch kit.
Daukin OEM: $260.93 w/ 1 day shipping
Daukin stage 1: $444 w/ 1 day shipping
Flywheels not included.
so what do you guys think?
Im also getting the idea that the dual mass stock flywheels cannot be reused/resurfaced...can someone verify?

you cannot machine dual mass flywheels because they cannot be fixed to the lathe properly
dual mass flywheels aren't the greatest for strength either if i recall correctly they don't hold up well to lots of load (not that your car will put it through that)
i'd recommend just getting a regular lightweight flywheel or if your stock one is still ok to just use that one since you're not really doing anything extreme with the car

hrmm i dont think id risk spending 200-400 bucks then putting a used rotor back in without being resurfaced...
so whats a replacement for the rotor...im not looking for weight reduction or performance, just a cheap replacement and very QUIet no chatter....

what's the mileage on your car?
just because your clutch needs replacement doesn't mean your flywheel is done for. take a look at it to see how it looks. check the thickness specs to see how it's holding up

One question...is the stage 1 worth it for me, or is it going to be bothersome? I want the clutch to last alittle longer so if i need to have a hrad clutch feel then thats is ok

Im not going to have many mods...want close to stock but alittle more grab and feel in the clutch
Would the Exedy OEM clutch kit plus XTD/XTR lightweight Flywheel be an OK choice?

any aftermarket flywheel, will most likely be noisy, and chatter a good bit. BTW, there have been other forum members who have had the stock flywheel resurfaced.
I have used The XTD clutch kit on an RX7 turbo project car of mine, and didnt have any problems with it. Although, a lot of people claim that the XTD stuff is just a cheap OEM style clutch kit that has been painted red. I dont know anything about their flywheels. If i were you, I would just go with the JWT set up.
