2005 g35 coupe. 6 spd.
Ok those who had followed.. the clutch pedal back 1 month ago started sticking...bc i wasnt used to it, i took a bit to figure out how to get around town while Infiniti wadded me around, and it eventually killed the clutch and it started slipping...infiniti blamed me hot rodding and burning up the clutch and the pressure plate was weaking after 60K....SO i said f-it and 3 weeks ago I put a new clutch in and its been running fine...then all of sudden today, the clutch sticks AGAIN.
i take it to infiniti..show them, they think its the clutch master now...eventhought ive now spent over 500-600 on parts/labor
Sooooo when i got the clutch in, i said F-it and put some aftermarket parts on...jim wolf air intake, test tubes that setoff my engine light and Short shifter.
What all should i put back to original before i take it back in? i dont want them to warranty void my engine or tranny...

Hmm.... the pedal sticking sounds like its the clutch master cylinder, and air in the lines.
When your clutch was "slipping" , did you try gassing it completley in like 5th to 6th gear close to conking out, if you feel the engine revving but the car isnt moving anywhere, then the clutch is going.
If the pedal is sticking to the ground, then it sounds like there is air in the clutch line. If its this, all you have to do is re-bleed the clutch.

Yea that sucks. Does it stick when it's cold? or only after driving it for a bit?
If it's only after driving it for a bit you need to change out your clutch fluid, its boiling and not maintaining its viscosity. drain it all out with a turkey baster and fill it up with dot4 brake fluid. Generally that solves the problem. Sometimes you have to fill / drain it a few times while pumping the pedal inbetween to be sure you've gotten all the old fluid out.

the point is I had a perfectly good clutch. I had no clue what the issue was and still dont because its under warranty and I bought this car so I didnt have to work on cars anymore. Then for them to pick the pricest solution and blame me for hotroding the car and then say that the splines on the pressure plate are causing it due to misuse is ridiculous. So after the month of talking about and forth trying to get them to find a solution or fix it, my clutch got burnt up.
So i replaced the damn clutch myself. then 200 miles in, its doing it again.
this time they pick something new out of the hat but want to replace it under warranty.
Its not bitching on the internet, im merely sharing my experience and all the bad luck ive had with this G35...and venting at the same time.
If i wanted to have a car that i needed to work on every weekend, i wouldnt have paid 25,000 for it.
I also should restat that comment you Quoted me on. The solution has not been figured out yet. I was merely stating, that if they had taken the time to fix it as opposed to finding ways to charge me money outside the warranty, which ENVITABLY will come back to them to the point they will have to fix it, it would have prevented all this.
I am not working on a car that has warranty on it unless I have to. Everytime i go there for an issue, they round off 100 different questions to try and blame it on me. like my gastank
do you not fill it with premium gas...do you not give it a minute to vent out, do you use crappy gas stations, do you run it on empty...ect
