Well obviously they used a top secret prototype clutch in your car that never went into production. **** 127k miles? Ridiculous. I wish I could have a clutch that good

Oh da*m! How much did that cost you? This is my first stick as well but I have driven stick rarely in the past so I had an idea how it works. Was that covered under waranty or did you pay yourself? Did you stall/grind the gears a lot??

I went 90K on my original clutch...slight slipping could of went longer if I wanted to, but I had the money at the time to replace so I did.

130k original clutch. Never changed tranny or diff oil only engine oil. 85% highway and never performed maintenance except air filter. I still redline it 3 to 4 times a week and average 23mpg and it still pulls strong.I put in 5 quarts of oil and after 3500 miles I get out 5 quarts.I can't explain it.

My G is pushing 63k. Just installed it's 3rd clutch...and flywheel *shakes head* on Monday. The wear from the 1st two was mainly from the dick who owned the car prior to me.

I just had an RPS Cyn-R-G and Street Clutch installed and they're breaking in nicely. Stupid dealer tech told me my clutch and flywheel were both fried and needed to be replaced. I didn't have the money at the time so I told them to leave it. It turns out that the old flywheel was a JWT and I could have just bought a new friction plate. So now I have a JWT flywheel that I need to sell *shakes head x2*

Driving style and the type of driving make a huge difference on longevity. Obviously, freeway mileage will have the least wear where as stop and go city driving will likely have the most wear (except for dragging and drifting).
