Rear end question...

Well, Im learning my new G coupe. Its is a AT (getting used to not shifting as well) and the rear is un predictable.

About 50% of the time it acts like a posi and I can bring out the rear end easy. However, the other 50% of the time it does a 1 legger. This is a problem for me becasue when I race I need it to be mroe predictable.

So, would the best bet to get a newer (still used) factory unit or something aftermarket... of course $ is a issue and cheaper the better...

Thanks!

If you race why wouldn't you get a MT?

well, I used to race almost everyweekend. but Im probably gonna go down to once every few months.

I do a lot of carpools and I will need to take the wifes SUV and she cant drive stick.

finally, my friend who works at infiniti said (knowing how I drive) that I would break the 6speed.

finally, I plan on buyin a full on track car... so, the the G then will very rarely see the track.

have you tried turning off the VDC? G35 handles beautifully and should have no problem drifting or sliding out.
