Carbonetics twin disc clutch????

I need some user feedback on this set up. If I'm about to drop over $2k just for the kit, not including install, I wanna know exactly what to expect.
I've read and heard great things about it but does anyone here run this kit?

Let me know what you guys think of it.

I have one on my car.

Things I don't like are typical for all multi-plate clutches like noise and how sticky they get when very hot.

The Carbonetic is very high quality part.

Sweet.

That's what I've heard and read.

Explain the sticky when hot.

Sharif was having a big sale on the twin-disc Carbonetics before Christmas... Might give Forged a call...

Yeah there are quite a few different ones they have. The two that were on sale are not the same one I have.

As far as the sticky when hot, I would say that after some track time or a good mountain run it gets hot. When the carbon plates get hot they get grabby so the clutch becomes very on/off; there is not much slipping that occurs.

For daily driving this is not an issue and when it is hot you want it to be like that. Only time I have issues with it is when I go on a mountain run and then come back into town and have to drive in traffic. It's like driving a high pressure 4 or 6 puck clutch.

i have the carbonetics triple disc carbon clutch, will definitely take getting used to. the engagement zone is about 1.5", will seen like either on or off. love it though, definitely recommended... another reason why NOT to let anyone else drive your car.
