I was wondering if I go FI with my g35 5AT 2005 what are the weak point in the Transmission? I really dont want to replace the entire thing but maybe just do a valvebody upgrade or something.

well ya when you go FI you are gonna definitely need to do the upgrade so tranmission can take the higher torque you are going to have , i forget the numbers that the stock auto tranny can take before it goes out but to do it right the first time when you go FI , i would look up SPG http://sgpracing-store.stores.yahoo....raupvabof.html , or look up the transgo shift kit , , but I do remember there was a thread awhile back that did address this

You will want to upgrade the VB, and possibly rebuild the tranny depending on how much power you want. If you want to rebuild the tranny send me a PM. I have a local guy who will do it for $1400 even. He did mine
