well the sport package would imply that you would have a limited slip. The sport package was stiffer springs and struts and a limited slip diff if I remember right.

just go onto a lose stone driveway and turn the wheel and try to go. your wheels will spin really easy and you will almost get stuck. its hard to explain but you will beable to tell.

...I just assumed the sport package was the springs struts and slip as stated above but Id also think you'd get 19s in an unrelated way.. kind of like buying a car with navigation but no sunroof.. If that makes any sense at all.

If you have a 5at... Can you make it lsd with a direct 6mt diff swap? As in unbolt and the just bolt on the other?

I do not believe any of the automatics came with an LSD. However, on the Z and G35 the stock LSD is pretty much the same as an open diff. It really doesn't do much.

If you want an LSD, just purchase an aftermarket one and have it installed.

yes. Plenty of done this not for the LSD, but for the final gearing of the 6mt. You can usually find a pumpkin from a 6mt for cheap on my350z. If you want an LSD, the best way to do it is to purchase the 6mt pumpkin, and purchase an aftermarket lsd, and have both your final drive and your lsd swapped together.

So I would have to swap the final drive? Can't I just swap the whole thing... Directly off a 6mt just unbolting the whole thing and throwing the other in ther?
