83K miles, hmm yea i would think the crank pulley would be a very big maybe due to the vibration coming from the shifter but at least we're thinking lol. ill let u know how the park rev turns out

there was infact no duplication of the vibration during the park test. everything seemed smooth and just the way it should be. i think that its very akward that the frequency of the vibration changes from gear to gear. w/e is causing this must be in operation in verey gear but gets spead up it lower gears and slowed down in higher gears. things to rule out to me are: trans input and output bearings, drive shafts, shaft bearings and universals. im starting to think that it maybe a transmition internal issue. let me know what u think

Mine has always done the same thing. I always thought it was the ECU 'feathering' the gas for a few seconds when you ubruptly let off the throttle to prevent the notchy jerky thing from happening. I'm pretty sure it's engineered into the ECU to make the car seem less notchy.

I've got this problem as well, except mine started after a warranty replacement transmission was install and a new clutch. Dealer is blaming it on not replacing the flywheel. I can definitely tell the vibration is coming from the rear of the car, its like a slight vibrating hum between 2600 and 2300 rpm on deceleration. Unfortunately it doesnt happen every time so it is hard to let the dealer hear/feel it.

2004 with 69k miles.

After thinking about this more, I am leaning more towards the clutch/flywheel side of things. Seeing that it happens at a certain RPM and NOT speed, it is something directly connected to the motor and before the transmission. Meaning, 3rd gear at 2400 rpm the drive shaft is spinning a certain rpm. In 2nd gear at 2400 rpm, the drive shaft is spinning slower but still has the same vibration. It is engine RPM related, not driveshaft or wheel RPM related... Just thinking out loud.
