YES it is. I had both master and slave cylinders replaced under warranty like 2 weeks ago. It is covered under the 60K/4yrs warranty and not the powertrain warranty.

how did you get the dealer to replace it?
they wouldn't replace it cuz they said everything seem to work fine and they don't see any problem while the tech work on the car and they took the car out for test drive and nothing....

went to the dealer last week and complained of a sticky clutch however only in traffic...
they took the car gave me a loaner, called me stating they will need to replace the Master clutch. They replaced it w/ no questions asked the car was actually working perfect for the last 3 weeks.
Factory warranty is great as i thought driving home, but only to realize the clutch STILL sticks and now its much worse! Sigh. Going to call Inifinit in the morning again...

Same thing is happening to me. This all started when the weather got warmer outside (about in the 90s). After driving for about 25 minutes in the city, the clutch gets much softer, and when releasing the clutch, it sticks a little half way back and pops back to it's normal position. It hasn't gotten stuck yet where I have to pull it back with my feet.

I'm going to drop it off at the dealership this weekend. It seems like those who get the clutch plate replace still have problems versus having the master and slave cylinders replaced. So when I go to the dealership, i'll just tell them that i did my research and it seems to be the master and slave cylinders.

The dealer measured the amount of pressure on the clutch. After a while the clutch lost pressure hence why they replaced the cylinders

I've been having this problem for about 3 months now...
I have bottles of brake fluid that i fill up every few days -_-

I really can't afford to change the cylinders right now so I have to drive like this for a while.

Does anyone know if this is bad to drive around wiht?
