B&M short throw shifter

i just picked my car up this morning from b&m, in chatsworth california. i had contacted them about a month ago regarding their use of my 6mt sedan as their dev vehicle for the short throw shifter. after speaking with them we eventually made arrangements for me to drop the car off for them last week while i was out of town. the unit was essentially a rubbed 350z unit, as far as i am aware, and my vehicle was used to confirm alignment, etc.

the car now shifts in a manner that it seems it was meant to. although the marking folks at nissan/infiniti sell the stock unit as a "short throw" shifter, as we all know there was room to be had (or taken out) from the factory unit.

i am priveledge to have the opportunity to work with all the folks at b&m as they are down to earth guys. we will be working together in the future as they would like to improve upon the perceived level of harmonics in the cabin. we are all aware of the significant feedback in the shifter, one of the reasons (just one of) i bought the g over the C230 K sedan. i will keep everyone up to date on the continued refinement. i am sure these guys will stick with it till they are satisfied. me, i'm there already.

...now to adjust the clutch to a normal engage/diseng position...
