Hell you can buy the ring & pinion gears and $30 worth of ancillary parts required plus have it installed for less than the 1.2K the guy was asking... the dude selling his used pumpkin has no idea of it's value (or lack of value).

see how easy that was
And speeddream is a lot more reasonable than the guy trying to sell for 1.2K (he'll sell it for 1K... j/k )
I love threads like this - someone looking for something - someone else happens to have it... no marketplace special pictures, signs, and multiple low-ball offers & crap...
Good luck guys, hope it works out good for both of you

you're better off getting after market LSD... the OEM isnt that great in the first place and it's not serviceable - so when the viscous fluid goes bad the diff is worthless anyway... and these days getting a used one is gonna probably have high mileage and might not be the best choice.
The 3.5 gears are worth it though (even though it would be better with lsd).
Ultimately the best option is getting 3.7 gears and aftermarket diff and getting them installed in your existing pumpkin - but that's a bit costly (I did it and even though it's real good, I'm not sure I'd say its worth the price)... keep looking though - eventually you'll find a decent OEM to swap out.
