AT... slim pickings. I saw the one pictured in person, didn't look too bad, but I'll admit that picture makes me want to vomit.

Oh nice, I'd had a RAZO recommended before that wasn't. Looks good. Do you just push it down to shift out of P?

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****
hey, just wanted to know if anyone has any pics of the leather momo shifter? the aluminum one looks cool but doesn't it get hot in the sun and cold in the winter? and I think the leather with aluminum accents matches the graphite interir more..
Re: NISMO SHIFT ****
I hate the side button on the shifter for the automatic, I wish they had put it on the front like on the FX, The one on the FX is nice! But since Infinity is no help as far as saying if the shifter from the other vehicle fits on my "G" I made my own using pictures from "Momo" "Razo" "Nismo" etc. and I came up with these shift ***** made out of aluminum rod on a machine lathe, I had fun doing it and they feel pretty good , So I change them once on a while just to achieve a different look. Here is my assortment

Re: NISMO SHIFT ****
Since you have an automatic, once you remove the original shifter **** you will see that it is a simple mechanism, to remove the old one snap the bottom rong downwards and remove a circlip that holds the **** , lift it up and that is it , depending on what brand you buy you should get some instruccions, if not it should be easy to figure out, Good luck!!
Re: NISMO SHIFT ****
I just installed the black Momo **** last night. I was also concerned about the aluminum being hot/cold... I was also afraid the anodising on the aluminum **** might not match the metal trim in the car, but I was similarly concerned that the black leather Momo uses might not be a good match.
I'm very happy with the ****. The leather is an excellent match. I was mainly concerned it might be too black, since Momo calls the color "black" while those of us with graphite interiors know the leather used in our cars isn't truly black, but rather a very dark shade of grey. Fortunately, so is the leather on the Momo ****. The grain is also a good match for the leather of the steering wheel.
I *would* say however that the chrome base & rings look a little incongruous, since about the only place that kind of finish is used in the G35 interior is on the bezels around the volume and temperature controls on the console, but, it's that little bit of chrome that saves it for me.
The net of all this is that I ruminated over this for a long time. I didn't want to throw $100 at a solution to the ridiculous OEM ****, only to find out I didn't like it. But I'm very pleased with the result, & I'm sorry I waited.
Let's see if I can get these pics posted...
