Clutch Pedal Squeak
Recently my car has come up with this issue when using the clutch. When the pedal is depressed once it passes the slack point, it squeaks. It is not inside the vehicle as it is louder with the door open than closed. I was just wondering if anyone has had this issue. Wether it would be something that needs to be lubricated or that it could be something with the throwout bearing or clutch itself? The clutch feels fine and works properly and I have noticed anything different with the feel of the engagement or anything aswell. If anyone has any ideas or experience with this, any help would be appreciated.

I've heard the same squeek and when I checked it seems to be coming from the fork. nothing really I can do since its inside the tranny. The noise comes and goes.
I have see pedal squeak as a result of needing some grease on the clevis/fork and pin that are attached to the back of the clutch pedal and that connect it to the master cylinder. I know you mentioned that this noise seems to come from outside but it is worth a shot.

I know its been while for this thread but just posting in case someone else is facing the same problem.
My clutch pedal started squeaking as others mentioned above. It would squeak whenever the clutch pedal depressed and after car has warmed up. And after driving for a while, whenever I would park the car the clutch chatter would be more than usual and it would sound -- how should I say --- "uneven".
Anyway, I tried to lube the pedal but then realize that it was coming more from outside, specifically near the fork of the throw-out bearing.
Since, my transmission was recently replaced under warranty, I took it back to dealer and the service confirmed it was coming from the fork. So first time, he says that he will lube the fork (I don't know how) but does and gives the car back. The squeak starts again in about 20 miles. So I call him and he says he will ask Infiniti engineering and get back to me. Long story short, the dealer replaced the fork and the bearing and clutch hasn't squeaked yet. Service rep told me that the initially replaced fork and bearing weren't lubed from the factory so basically a manufacturing defect.
So, I guess that was the cause of it.
For all ya having this squeak, it might be covered under warranty as mine if its factory defect from install time.
Goodluck!

My clutch pedal squeaked for quite some time and it was annoying! Well, I greased the **** out everything that was recommended on the boards but to no avail. My problem was the spring. So, I greased the **** out of that and no more squeak!
Whatever the one that sits up high behind the pedal, is that the proper term for it? I pushed down the pedal with my hand, and with the other I felt for vibrations as I slowly released the clutch pedal.
