Just a couple little hic ups. You should get them fixed with no problems and it'll be as good as new.

Is the fix a permanent fix?? Or do they just replace the stuff already there??

DO you guys think me complaining about the pass airbag never going off is valid?? I mean it works, but just not the way it should. Light comes on when the car starts, but then goes out and stays out even if nobody or nothing is in the front seat. 99% of the time i drive alone (yes 4 door car, 1 passenger usually) but the airbag should turn off and doesn't.

mine just started doing this about a month ago. I hear a click EVERY morning when I shift from P to R, then R to D. It seems to be getting worse by the day. Is it covered under the powertrain warranty?

yes and no, it should be covered pending on how the dealership sees it.

I called fields infiniti and asked. reguardless since i'm out of bumper to bumper and only have powertrain, i have to pay $110 for them to check it out. If they can duplicate it, they said they will fix it for free. But i forgot to ask them about the $110 diag fee.

if they are going to charge $110 for diag and do the powertrain work, then you might as well go in and pay them directly to do the TSB. since it pays 1.1 for both axles which is about $150.

If you get it done let me know which dealership you went to. Because i'm most likely going to do this myself since i dont want to risk being out 110$

My car gets the axle click every once in a while. Same with the compression rods. The sounds never stick around on my car so I've just learned to live with them. For the compression rods, I'll hit them with a little silicone every once in a while. The CR fix is not a fix. The problem always seems to creep back, especially for those of us living in harsher climates that experience extreme summer and winter temps.

I have this along with 4 other TSB's that my car has but I am not sure if they are covered or not. I have 65k miles but I also have the extended elite warranty for 3 more years or 35k more miles but not sure if TSB's are covered under that.

Mine does the click when I go from P to R and R to D, but I didn't think much of it. I thought the axel noise everyone was having was a constant click while driving?

The air bag should only turn off is there is someone under the pre determined weight limit in the front seat. if there is nothing there, it should function as normal. Put a 20-40 lb bag in the seat and see if it turns off; if it doesn't it might be malfunctioning.

Even with a passenger, it never turns off. The light comes on when i start the car, but shuts off 5 seconds later...even if a passenger is in the seat....or a heavy package.

It used to work correctly about 8 months ago, now it doesn't
