Unhappy 05 G35 coupe - Loud whistling noise when driving

Two days ago, I started noticing this whistling noise when driving. The noise is coming from somewhere underneath. It sounds like it is more towards the rear end (differential) and it is only while the car is moving (definitely not coming from the engine). Also, the noise slightly reduces when shifting gears and when clutch is applied while driving. Both manual transmission and differential fluid levels are fine and no leaks. It sounds like a bearing or something. Anyone had a similar problem or any idea what it could be or what I should look into replacing or checking first? Thx

Angry G35 Whistle

Hey,

I too have had a whistling problem for about a year now. No ONE can figure out what the heck it is. Im ready to sell my car. It happens both in hot and cold weather. normally only right when i start my car, and goes away after 10-15 min after driving. Its a high pitched under the car type of sound. Does yours eventually go away? Infiniti said it was my window. which i think is b.s. and they want to "crack" it and have insurance replace it. I think its a wast of time and dont think its the window. it wouldnt stop after a few min. of driving if it was. If you find out what it is..Please let me know. Same for me.

Same here. Both Z and G, Sounds like it's coming from the diff, after I flushed it.
