almost dont want to wait for my warranty to end..... another 20k mi ehhh. this kit is exactly what i want to make up for not getting a 6spd

Just bought the kit, hopefully I will love it as much as my last VB upgrade on my TBird

This kit is the perfect balance between nice and aggressive.

Comfortable with normal driving, aggressive with 4000+ RPM shifts.

The only harsh time is *possibly* at first engagement. If you put it in R before going into D then it will seem normal. If you go from P to D you'll feel the whole car move.

Post up your results when you get it installed.

Sell the X and get the RWD version. Its faster in the 2007 anyways. Better FD...

Not so good for the Colorado winters! I survived 2 in my 350Z roadster and I'm happy to not experience that again

I lived in Utah for the last 3 or 4 winters with my G, no problems. Just gotta be careful

I think this has to do with which model year G/Z you have. I took Tofu's 06 G coupe (with rev matching trans) through the gears and his Transgo VB trans shifted as smooth as my 05 with stock VB. (faster but smooth non jerky shifts)

His 06 also had no jerky shifts but shifted into gear quickly when pacing thru the gears in manual mode & in full auto mode. The best part...when I got more aggresive, the trans actually shifted quickly to match my need and didn't seem to "think" about what it was trying to do

No, its all the same. I've installed it on several trans. The 03-04 acts just like the 05-06. Rev matching didnt really change all that much except smoother downshifts.

Results have been the same in each car I've driven with the VB

The main problem was big-*** trucks who thought I should still be doing the speed limit. Oh, and my driveway and hills

The transgo manual says the opposite. who's right? what about g35x 2007+ (V36)?
