That's actually not as bad as I thought it was gonna be lol but is it really hard or is this something that I could do on my own? And since this is an old thread I was wondering how it has been holding up so far?

It depends on what you consider to be hard, some people have done it and found it to be easy and others thought it would be too difficult to even attempt. If after going through this DIY thread you feel you can do it and deal with the consequences if something goes wrong then go for it. I don't think is that hard, but I don't have time to take on this project. I got an appt in a week to get this done. I am pretty sure this holds up fine, since it suppose to prolong the life of your AT transmission.

It's just a few valves, springs and drill bits. A bit of a let down when you open the box, but not when you feel how they work!

Yeah, instead of replacing the metal plate that separates the halves of the valve body, you just drill out a few of the holes larger.

I have an 04 g35 coupe AT basically stock except a CAI and a 5/16 MD spacer. worth it to get the transgo VB kit? it seems like its pretty much awesome for AT's no matter what mods are installed but some sites say its for cars with forced induction! definitely want to get this installed ASAP!
