Replace Clutch Now?

So I got about 79,000 miles on my 05 manual on the original clutch. Clutch is still good I think, no slipping. Most of my miles are highway miles.

Last summer I noticed that the clutch pedal starting to stick to half way. So I change did the easy change to the fluid in the reservoir only. That got me through the winter. Should I get the clutch bleed only since my clutch is surprising in good shape? If I replace the clutch, do they do the bleed for me as part of the service, or is it two different thing?

i mean its all up to you. If its not slipping then that means it still has some life in it. I think its almost time for you to change your clutch out though, some go quick as 30,000mil. Depending on how people drive it.

You do have to bleed it when you change the clutch out i think. Thats how it was in honda/nissan anyways. It doesn't take long to bleed them things anyways.

uhh I have 103k miles haha. I bought the car with 27k so I don't know if the original owner changed the clutch. Clutch doesn't slip, but the engagement point is pretty high though.

Thank you all. I guess I will just bleed the clutch fluid only. I know there is a DIY out there, but how much do you think it would cost if bring to mechanic or dealer?

Hm, maybe like .5 hours of labor? At a chain that would be like $42.50. I would try a little local shop maybe like 20 bucks?

gqraverice- The engagement point is typically high on the G/Z's. I have 104k on my G, still no slipping.
