Mine ground from 4th to 6th and 5th to 6th. It was so bad the floor would vibrate when shifting. Scared small animals off the road.

My tranny has had a slight grind when shifting into 2nd gear and sometimes a slight hint of a grind into 3rd. I only have 2500 miles so I am really concerned. I can't seem to replicate the grind all the time, although it definitely does it more when I first start driving. I now shift right from 1st into 3rd when I first start driving in the morning. Has anyone else experienced the same?
I am bringing it into the dealer on Friday for my first oil change and I'll have them check it. I'm just afraid I'll hear a "they're all like that" comment.

oh yea!! it happened to me one time. I was leaving my house around 9 p.m and I pushed pretty hard on accelerator and shifted to 2nd on 6000 rpm and it grinded...
I want to go to dealer but I am afraid that they might not cover my car under warranty...

Don't take a passive position. Sometimes you need to be aggressive with these bastards.
Unless you beat your clutch it should be fine at 25k miles. You can get 100k or more out of a clutch if you take care of it.

gear grinding can occur under rough conditions (cold weather and cold tranny fluid with full throttle) I have grinded as well but i think its more of a normal grind rather than "oh crap my tranny is blown" grind
if it happens once or twice a month then you are fine. but once it happens every day... and it can be replicated on demand, then take it into the dealer and have them check it out for you.

can someone help me on this one.. i jus got my tranny replaced on my auto 04 G... now like.. my car is more quiet.. wtf happened?? the idle is quiet now.. and i have stillen exhaust. megan headers.. kinextic high flow cats.. and jwt pop charger.. i ono wuts going on.. the car drives much better than before.. i guess.. but i ono if i lost performance or anything.. pm me yeh? =X does my tranny need to be broken in or wut? lol
