Limited slip differential...

So I jst bought a 2003 auto g coupe and sometimes when I step on it a slip icon lights up.. I'm jst wondering if that's a Limited slip differential? And what are the benifits of having it? And do all g's come with this??

only auto g's have it..they also have ivtec, and mivech. I envy auto G's

Oh really, I didn't know that?.. So what is a ivtec and mivech and what does it help it do??
