Found a place closer to Los Angeles to do it for 220 without fluids and about 400 with. It's in Bell Gardens, "Performance Transmission" is the name of the shop for anyone looking for a transgo install. Have never dealt with them before, just a shop a lil closer to home for me, inda626 actually found the place for me so I wouldn't have to go so far for this. If anyone knows of any other shops, please let me know!!

Edited: prices do not include the transgo kit SORRY forgot to mention that

Sorry if his is a dumb question fellas but would having a G35x matter as far as installing the transgo kit on my sedan? The AWD doesn't make a difference regarding the transgo right?

I'd be very tempted to try this myself to save on installation, but how long should it take a shop to install? Would they need specific expertise with the G or instructions from me?

The kit comes with instructions in printed form. I'd just go off those and follow the DIY's around to make sure you know what you are in for.

The first time I did it it took me 7 hours, being very very careful. The 2nd time took me 5 hours. The 3rd took me 4 hours.

I can do it in about 3.5-4 hours pretty consistently. I think thats what a professional trans shop SHOULD charge...

Thanks - I've had a lot of work on my truck at a great local shop who would probably have a stab at it for me. If I can say 4-5 hours then I could get away with $300 I'm thinking.

Once it's out for the X!

Transgo shift kit does not apply to the AWD. Only available for the RWD models currently.

Just looked at Transgo's website and it looks like it doesn't matter, RWD or AWD. Scroll to the bottom:
