Alright a lil late, but I finally got the issue fixed with the CEL, VDC OFF AND SLIP lights. For a recap if your too lazy to read the previous posts, I initially had the three light s go off and the car took about 5 seconds to start and the lights stayed on. I plugged up the OBD 2 and got a P0340 code for camshaft position sensor bank 1, I replaced both sensors cranked the car up and had the same problem accept now it was a P0345 for camshaft position sensor bank 2. Two days later I decide to actually go under the hood and re-check the sensors and to my surprise, the sensor was in the engine but the clip was unclipped. As you've probably put together I attached it and the car started like a charm. So to all my NOOB's like me, the lesson learned is always check your work. It will save you a lot of headache.
