Clutch rattling-Help!

I have an 04 g35 6mt and it has about 60k miles on it. For the past 3 or 4k i have been having a strange problem when i start up the car. It has become more frequent recently since I am driving it more often now. When i start the car after leaving it overnight in my driveway, the clutch makes a strange grinding noise only while the clutch is depressed. When i release the clutch the sound goes away. I have a video of this happening and i will try to post it somehow.

Thanks

Sounds like you may have a "Throw out" bearing going bad.

thats similar to what other threads have said, but they hear the noise when the clutch is engaged, mine stops when the clutch is engaged. Also do you think it is worth fixing? dealership quoted me 1500 to change the clutch and bearing, plus additional work hours because the "bolts are rusted".

Lol the dealership is going to hose you turbo. Our flywheels cant be resurfaced so when they qouted you that make sure its with the flywheel replaced. Or they will randomly "notice" it when your car is apart.
