we removed it thinking that was the original issue the Aftermarket VB..come to find out once installed I can drive in tip tronic up to 3rd gear...if I attempt to shift into 4th it will automatically go into limp mode in 3rd but in standard AUTO Mode and Tip tronic no longer works......I have to turn off my machine and restart the car for everything to reset so that I can shift again normally.

I would love to install the Level 10 back into the car but right now dont want to mess with it..I have the whole car pulled apart pretty much working on a complete wire tuck in the engine bay at this time.....going to be a long next week of soldering and extending wires.

 

sorry to revive yet another old thread - but I seem to be having a similar issue - only my car starts and drives (seemingly fine - haven't really pushed it at all yet). About 5 days ago I had my transmission rebuilt - and everything has seemed fine since then. Smooth shifts, no noises at all. Today however I noticed that shifting out of park into drive causes the car to jolt forward (something it used to do with the old tranny but did not when I first got it rebuild). I have not pushed the car yet - and have been waiting to give the new tranny time to break in. Today I drove into my banks drivethru, put the car into neutral (AT) and noticed nothing lit up on the gear indicator on the dash. I went into drive, and it drove forward - but nothing lit up. I turned the car off and on - and everything was fine again. I noticed there is a delay. In the Nuetral indicator showing up when changing gears. Any ideas?
