There is a different offset for the AT's and the MT's. It looks like we are going to do units to replace the MT differential as a straight replacement. What does that mean, will the AT guy need to use a 3.5:1 ratio, or can they stick with a 3.3. I ask this , since I'm currently at 3.5:1 with the 6mt, but intend to swap down to 3.3:1 for more effective TT use. ??

Glad you are keeping tabs on this. I have my money saved up for this + installation costs so I'd definitely be in on this when it's released. I see that you have a KAAZ already. Are you going to switch to a Quaife? And if so is it because the Quaife would be a better choice for you as a daily driver?

yup, plan to switch, better choice for DD like you mention and also longer lasting and lower maintenance... I don't expect a huge diff in performance, the KAAZ hooks up pretty damn nicely, you just feel it in parking lot speed turns...
i got a little more info from Quaife, the design is final, production run is in process as we speak, they just can't commit to when, guess on My350z is May/June...

Minor update.
We're shooting for end of June availability. The estimate is far from being set in stone, so the usual disclaimer applies. What I can say is they are already 'in production' at the factory. Cost figures is still yet to be release at the this point. I personally do not expect the street price to be far from other Quaife LSD offerings.
