What clutch to get??

ok so its time for a new clutch. my car has almost 50k on it and its about that time.

Question: What clutch should i get? OEM or aftermarket? should i replace the flywheel as well?

I plan to do full bolt ons on the car but i do not want an aggressive clutch that makes lots of noise. What do you guys recommend?

Searching goes a long way...

You're posting in the correct subforum already so just look.

Everyone will have biased opinions.

Search and you will see

ACT and JWT are popular choices. There have been a couple of members that have recently experienced premature failures with their JWT...don't know if that's a quality control issue or not. All single mass flywheels will have chatter. However, if you can find a nismo, it will be one of the quietest of the bunch.

yea i have heard about the failures with the JWT. I was thinking about going with the Exedy stage 1 with my OEM flywheel(resurfaced) or just going with an OEM clutch replacement since it rides nice. I just want something thats not going to rattle and be aggressive

you must ride your clutch a lot or do to much stop light commuting...

i'm over 100K miles on my stock clutch...

good thing to know about the JWT problems though... was thinking about the jwt kits some of the vendors were offering for good prices....

may just go with nismo, or stay oem....
