Wow.. Sorry for my incredible ignorance. I was very tired when I read that post for the first time. I see what you are saying, Kinda getting off topic here but is there any way to convert?

Also I know a guy with an 03 coupe that shifts as you describe the 2004.5 are the coupes different or am i wrong? Thanks for the insight *****

2003-2004 5AT are all the same valve body & TCM. 2004.5+ is when it all changed so his car will not hold gear like the 2004.5+.

They are not a direct swap due to the TCM & valve body differences - I don't know if anybody has tried to swap them. You would have to swap the TCM & trans wiring harnesses as well. Even then, its a long shot that the ECM will recognize the TCM.
