2004 auto trans
I have a transmission from a 2004 350z, will fit any 2003-2006 350z/G35.
has around 40K miles on it, worked 100% when we pulled it. Its not showing in the picture but it includes the torque converter.
Located in Kent WA, I can meet up with a buyer anywhere in the Seattle WA/Portland OR area, I will not ship.
$400 or trade for??? Let me know what you got

i might be willing to trade for my transmission. i have a transgo shift kit on it. but i bought it off the previous owner who was going to install a turbo in the car and he never did. shifts really crisp but i feel like im wasting it since im trying to get the car back to stock(it use to be a SEMA show car). and i am hoping to recover some of the money i invested in it. let me know what you think.
on a side note i also have a AP racing big brake kit on the car, tien type flex coilovers with the edfc, magnaflow exhaust, lambo door kit, and hotchkis sway bars.
im intrested in turning my car back to stock like i said. so if you are intrested in any of these parts let me know if you are intrested and we can work out a deal.
thanks

I'm sure you can sell the upgraded valvebody to someone in the marketplace, and if you buy my trans you'll be good to go!

sorry guys im new. but yeah i really just want to go back to the stock transmission. so im guessing the way to go is to sell the entire transmission and buy a stock tranny. any idea as to how much something like that would cost me though.? dont wanna end up losing a ton of money in the long run. my car is an 07 btw if that matters.

All you have to do is find someone that wants the transgo shift kit and swap them valvebodys. It drops out of the bottom, you do not need to remove the entire tranny. I'm sure someone will trade you their stock VB plus some cash on top

not necessarily...you have to make sure the VIN's are compatible....you have to contact Infiniti and determine if your 04 is part of the 03-04 or the 04.5......04.5 have the TCM built into the VB where as 03-04 have an independent TCM located by the ECU. If you try to swap in an 04.5 VB into a 03-04 (I TRIED THIS) the car will not go past 3rd gear and will default into limp mode.....OP should determine from the dealership based on his VIN if he is a 03-04 model G35 coupe or a 04.5 G35 coupe.

yes... all true, I assumed it was common sense to verify the exact model before you try and swap parts, my bad

I was just making sure OP knew...being that he said he was new and everything so he didnt sell someone a BAD *** Piece that at the end of the day wasnt compatible....I have the level 10 VB installed on my car!!!!

damn thanks guys i really had no idea how that works. but yeah my car is heavily modified and i dont plan to install a turbo anytime soon. so ill check at my dealer what transmissions are compatible

Just tell them your vin and ask if your car is an 03-04 or 04.5 and what u wrote above will tell you which g's are compatible

if the trans is in the car, the 2003-2004 will act as a top gear limiter when in manual mode. for 2004.5 the trans will hold gear in manual mode as long as you are over 1500 rpms...
Externally there is a difference between the transmission. You can determine by the electrical connections on the passenger side of the tranny. OP pics don't show the side so its not discernable.
Internally the 2004.5+ has the valve body which is much different from a 2003-2004 but also the TCM is inside the 2004.5+. In the 2003-2004 the TCM is located underneath the passerger kick panel, not far from the ECU.

So this is a no to my question?
