Maximum Speed of each Gear??

Just curious.. What are you guys seeing for max speeds thru the gears, assuming your shifting at or close to redline.

List if you are 5AT or 6MT. Stock or FD gear swap and the ratio. Before and after?
If you'er not running stock tire size take that into account as well, including speedo accuracy.

I'm 5AT coupe, running 265/35/20 in the rear, FD I "think" is stock 3.357.
Seeing at redline:
1st ~34 mph
2nd ~56 mph
3rd - I have to check
4th -5th ??

List yours.

If you haven't already done this please be safe kids

Thanks, but I'd still like to hear some responses in real world setups.

I'm beginning to think that the 5AT 06-07 g35s may have come with a shorter final drives than the 03-05 's despite what infinithelp lists; They are all supposed to have 3.357 FD ratios.

Looking at a couple of clips online I'm seeing an 04 and an 05 doing 37.5 mph in first, 62.5 mph in second, and 100 mph in 3rd, both 5ATs. Makes me wonder if I already have shorter gears or if that is the norm?

the coupe 5AT for 2006-2007 has a 3.53 final drive, the sedan still had the 3.35

3.35 FD w/ 5AT is about 40 MPH in 1st, 60MPH in 2nd...don't remember 3rd as I'm now 3.53

All G35s (coupe and sedan) had the 3.5 diff in 06. In 07 the coupe kept the 3.5, the sedan changed to a newer body style and has the 3.69

Alright thanks fellas, that makes since based off what I'm seeing so far, but where are you guys getting your reference? Like I mentioned above, infintihelp.com has All 5AT coupes as having a 3.357 diff.

Also makes me wonder if transmissions (ratios) stayed the same throughout the years?
