I strongly recommend having the VLSD. It's not as weak as many say and my VLSD has over 75K miles and it works as designed.

www.car-part.com. Search "carrier". From there the listing should tell you the ratio, if it has VLSD, and the miles.

I bought my 3.5 from a member on here, bikinilust. He will post up a 3.5 for time to time so you might want to PM him just for grins to see if he can find you one. Then you could look at junkyards in your area, or search all G and Z forums for one. You are looking for a pumpkin that came off the 6MT Gs and Zs from 05-06. Not sure about the 03-04.

That's one of the only things I didn't so myself. Cost $120 at a local performance shop. It's a relatively easy swap if you have a lift and 2 people doing it. The pumpkin weighs ~ 90# and you have to pull and push it at an awkward angle going in and out. Could be done on jack stands but I didn't want to mess with it.

Hmmm I wonder if that's for the 6MT? I am pretty sure all 03-06 5AT sedans came with the 3.3. Now you have me guessing.

05 FSM (coupe) says AT has 3.3 and MT has 3.5. 06 FSM says both have 3.5. Sedan 06 FSM says 3.5 for both as well.

If you have the sport package, then it is a 3.5 (coupes at least)

I thought I saw that info on there before

If you do have the sports package (19" rays, orange stitching on steering wheel, aluminum pedals, sport suspension.......etc) then your car should have came with the 3.5 VLSD.

I have an 05 sedan with the sports package and I had a 3.3 before I switched to the 3.5.

i guess im going to the junk yard and go looking for a 6mt g37 coupe/sedan or 08 5AT G37 coupe see how much i can get the pumpkin for
