help on which is trans fluid send and which is trans fluid return please

help on which is trans fluid send and which is trans fluid return please

which of these is my auto trans fluid send and which is the return? i want the fluid to go through my radiator cooler first, then my external cooler, then back to the transmission, but to do this, i need to know which of these is send and which is return, thanks

I believe the one closest to the driver side is the send. What u could do is start the car, then shut it back off quick. Transmission will pump fluid out of the send hose.

thanks, i think ill just lay under it with it running, then pull one of the hoses off, it will either be coming out of the hose or out of the hard line, that should tell me which is which. thanks

yup, but a couple codes popped up, p0021 and p0300
bank 2 cam timing over advanced and random misfire
i think the thick oil i have in during break in is messing with the vct solenoids that control the intake valve timing.

after work im going to dump the oil, put fully synthentic in, new filter, and swap the solenoids to see if the problem either goes away or swaps to the other bank
