Clutch Choice
Hey guys, I need to replace my stock clutch after 106,000 miles and I wanted to get some opinions from the experts here.
I plan on building my motor and going forced induction once I have enough money saved up, but I will be driving my car NA in the meantime. I will not be driving my car much for the next 10 months and the engine build may not happen for 18-24 months. My goal with the car is to have around 450whp on a safe tune.
I don't want a crazy 6-puck racing clutch, but I don't mind a clutch that takes some leg work. I don't want a super loud flywheel because this will be my daily.
With that said, what clutch would be best for me? I was originally thinking a JWT clutch kit, but I don't think I want the super loud flywheel rattle associated with the lightweight flywheel. So now I'm thinking a NISMO flywheel and JWT clutch.
Does anyone have this combo? Should I just get an OEM replacement for now, resurface the flywheel and wait until I go FI to upgrade the clutch?
Thanks Guys!
