^This is from the FSM for the 2006 coupe:

Its simple, taller gearing will allow the car to climb through the RPM range in a shorter distance. I didn't have any major issues with a 3.7, not sure about 3.9 though. Your speedometer will also be inaccurate.

I did previously, but went back to the 3.5 due to traction issues. I have an auto and the acceleration was slightly quicker.

550hp&tq is why I have traction issues. But, the 3.7 worked well when I was N/A.

Did you have to rebuild the motor to handle that much power if not that's Pretty Impressive for a factory motor

Yes, built shortblock. I wasn't taking any chances with the stock internals. The majority of the mods are listed in my "garage".

What made you choose the twin turbos and not the supercharger?

Not to answer for him but I know for me it was a fear of "getting used to it" too quickly because of the (relatively) slow onset of boost with the sc. SC is the safer option on stock internals- especially for the AT where you're looking at protecting a tranny as well

There is also a rather detailed thread on going to the 3.7 and some of the hurdles. I know a lot of NA / boost guys swap 3.3 for 3.5s so it's very available for a very reasonable price. 3.7 may need a bit more money. I can't remember which section it is but if I find it I'll link to it if you haven't found it already.

Might be this one...

I'd also be taking a very hard look at an aluminum driveshaft- or CFif you have money to burn. Transgo upgrade is a must... I would hit those two items with a 3.5 before I went to a 3.7 but that's just me.
