I have a 2003 G with 93,000 miles and the tranny has a noisy bearing, I think it's the input shaft bearing. When I have my hand on the shifter I can feel the vibration/grinding when in neutral I drained the gear lube about six mounths ago when I purchased the car and didn't find any metals in it. I put redline gear lube in it and it still shifts good thru all the gears. I would like to find a later model tranny 2005 to replace the current tranny, why do all the fitment guides say the tranny is not compatable with my car. What is diffrent on the newer tranny. Thanks
