I can hear what you're talking about because I hear the same exact thing in my 05 6MT w/ stock transmission under the same driving conditions. Can't say if it's normal, but you're not alone.

It almost sounds like it's coming from inside the transmission. Any other ideas other than predetenation?

predetonation from low octane or carbon build up in the engine. common but not normal.

Thanks for the response. After hrs of research I found out my noise was the timing chains due to low oil. Apparently these cars has some oil consumption issue

Try a high Ester oil of a little heavier weight.
