Does anyone else have this rattle?

Hi all - I've been noticing this rattle in the transmission/drive-axle area that sounds like nails in an aluminum can under acceleration. I typically hear this sound under WOT or just cruising at lets say 35mph in 5th/6th gear. I'm looking to get my the G tuned, but want to figure out what sound this is before taking it to Church Auto. Can anyone recognize what may be making this sound or is it normal of G35 transmissions?

FYI, I'm on a stock clutch, flywheel and throw-out bearing.

Thanks in advance!

-Jeremy

You can try seafoaming the engine.

I guess I don't see how it could be an engine-related sound? I only hear it when i'm driving at low RPMs, in gear. If I'm in neutral and rev, I don't hear the clacking noise.

Yeah, if it was ping, it would happen under moderate to hard acceleration. There is something else going on there.

I even went back and played it on a good set of speakers, NO, I don't hear it. I hear a slight rattle, but no pinging. When I put **** gas in mine once, it was LOUD.

Aren't g's known for having the rear axles make noise? My g makes the same noise and I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
