There's a vent tube sticking off the top of the gearbox half of the transmission that this tube attaches to and it dangles. Sometimes there is a bracket above that holds it but it's only a vent. If the gear oil starts boiling it will expand out this vent to prevent it from busting into the bell housing and lubricating the clutch.

Oh, yeah everything is attached, I thought maybe the hose fed into something else. Probably why I couldn't find a fitting anywhere lol.

So I finally finished up today and I'm having an issue. I installed: jwt clutch and flywheel, oem tob and pilot bushing, upgraded pivot ball, oem slave cylinder, steel braided clutch lines, and motordyne art pipes. Everything was brand new when installed. Anyway....

When in 5th/6th gear at 2500rpm I get a very loud and noticeable vibration when giving it throttle (25% or more), it's not really noticeable in lower gears and not at all when in neutral sitting still reving. I also get a rattle that sounds like rubbing your foot throught gravel when decelerating around 2300rpm and less. I have heard that the jwt flywheel rattles, but all the videos I've seen are people idling their cars and pressing the clutch pedal to get it to stop, so I don't know if it's the flywheel rattling when slowing down while in gear without pushing the clutch in. As far as the vibration on accel at 2500rpms, I was installed the catalytic converter brace onto the art pipes per instructions from motordyne to keep the pipes from cracking and I can't distinguish if it's the pipes vibrating on the bracket and it's going into the tranny and up through the floor/shifter, or if it's clutch system related. The car shifts smooth now with no grinding at all, pulls as it should, etc.... Anyone have any similar issues with any clutch/flywheel install, jwt install, or art pipe install? I'm going to take the bracket completely off to see if it goes away and figure out what to do from there if it does solve it, but I'd like to know where else to look if it's not the exhaust. So friggin annoying!
