My G35x is throwing front brake solenoid codes (p1757 and p1759) and a well-regarded transmission shop in my area claims that individual solenoid valves can be ordered from Nissan and will work in the 2005 G35x w/auto trans. I have read the various threads here on this problem and have not seen any indication that Nissan sells individual solenoid valves that will work on Infiniti 2005. Most of the people with this problem at G35driver have either replaced the tranny or replaced the whole valve body.

Is my local tranny shop full of **** or do they have a point?
