CD009 in my 2005 6MT?

Hey all, went down to "Mexico" and did a little racing for a change up against another g35. (2008 HR) Before that race, i raced my roomates Mazdaspeed3, and won successfully, but noticed my tranny was grinding into second. i was still able to get the old girl in, but it just bothered me as to why it was a tad rough. Then, it was time for the g35. i had to set a race three different times to actually complete the race with this guy! Why? My car wouldn't go into second for the sake of anything. strange... ive done some city driving in my g35, and ive noticed that it does have a moderately more aggressive "clunk" when going from first to second more so than all other gears. Shes got 150,000 on the clock, and never had a clutch replaced, but that time is soon coming up. (my clutch pedal gets spongey and mushy now whenever i drive it over 70 degrees. i know, not really the clutches fault, moreso the fluid, hydraulics, etc. but i thought i would change it all when i fix that.) my question is, is my tranny potentially on the way out? I've got a 2005 6MT g35 coupe, manufactured in march, 2005. The sticker on the side of the tranny that indicates the tranny number has worn off, so i cant really tell... does a 2005 6mt made ion 05 likely have the cd009? Thanks!

Take the street racing elsewhere.
Nobody is fooled with the "Mexico" bullshit or thinks it's remotely cool.
You were brave enough to race in the streets but now you can't confess to it on the Internet?
Stay hot kid

2005 was a transition year, so it's hard to say if you have a CD009 or a CD008 (both are listed in the FSM). Might be due for a trans fluid change. As far as the mushy pedal, I have to bleed/replace my clutch fluid every spring as a preventative maintenance, otherwise my pedal likes to stick halfway up in the summer when it's really hot. I'm at 200k and still on the original clutch, been saying it'll be toast "soon" since about 150k, lol.
