I have a Canadian G35 with a cracked left headlight lens.

I'm not concerned about the crack aesthetically. I bought the car with a left burnt out HID, expecting it to be a simple bulb replacement but it turned out to be a ballast that's been badly water damaged. When I unscrewed the ballast and removed it a bunch of water drained out the bottom of the headlight.

While I was replacing the HID bulb before I knew it was a ballast issue, I discovered there was no HID rear cover. I'm not sure if the water that my ballast was submerged in was caused by the headlight crack or lack of a rear HID cover?

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated

I'd really like to avoid purchasing a new headlight. I have no idea where I could find a Canadian headlight with DRL, already tried all the auto wreckers within a 1-4 hour drive with no luck.
