7AT is tricky to drain/fill but the steps are in the FSM if you want to do it. 7AT does not have a service interval and is "lifetime fluid" for many of the reasons I posted in the link to the short story.
Interesting read.
My service adviser at infiniti had never heard of power flushes causing problems in RARE cases. I later found out that he was not trustworthy after screwing me on a service I didn't need. That dealer has some serious corruption going on. I bet if I paid for the service they would just do a drain and fill instead of a flush for over $200. The only thing they would flush is my wallet!

Nothing like creating a problem where one did not exist.

Each planetary gear inside your AT has a wet clutch pack and a brake sleeve that are wearable components. As they wear the debris washes through the transmission and eventually catches in the filter. All hydraulic fluid breaks down from use especially from heat while under a heavy load. A drain/fill removes particles as well as replaced worn fluid. Nearly all transmission failures and problems are simply from not servicing the thing on interval. It's a big expensive component when it does go out .

People skip a tooth on timing chain replacements all the time. Is that the timing chains fault or the person who did the work?
