AWD not working?

I have a 07 X and the AWD doesnt seem to work, even in snow mode from a stop it only spins the rear. All fuses are good and no lights are on except for a TPMS light. Also sometimes when I want to have fun I'll turn off the VDC and do some doughnuts and drifts or whatever and sometimes the AWD light will blink fast then turn off after a minute or so. Any ideas on why?

Awd not working

Did you ever figure this out ? I have a bad rear wheel bearing and the front tires are 225/50r17
and the back tires are 225/55/r17 I only have a Tpms light and sometimes the awd light flashes if I’m stuck but only the back tire spins could the mismatched tires cause the awd not to engage ? I’m sure the previous owner had the cr towed with the front wheels down so I’m hoping they didn’t mess it up

Hey man, did you end up getting your vehicle scanned? Was it the solenoid inside the transfercase?

Same exact problem. 08 g35x, no lights on dash, exact same symptoms. Any luck?

Coming back to this, im still diagnosing my problem. Your tires have to be equal diameter or very close all around because the AWD system is very sensitive to the differences, and will disengage to protect itself. That’s what the dealer told me, and I do have uneven tread. I’m getting new tires and will keep updated
