2007 G35 sedan auto: 370z auto rearend fit???

Hello,

I was hoping someone could confirm this will fit?

I am 99 percent sure but wanted to make sure with the community.

I have a 2007 auto g35 sedan with the oem 3.69 rearend.

I wanted to know if a 370 z auto rearend will bolt right in?

thanks

You might have to swap the pinion flange (driveshaft flange). Look if you have a 3 bolt or a 4 bolt, the newer 370Z flange is a 4 bolt, if you have the 4 bolt flange it will bolt right in no mods. Otherwise you swap the pinion flange from the existing diff to the new diff. I think only the early G35/350Z came with the 3 bolt flange though so you SHOULD be fine.

If you need to swap the pinion flange don't know how to tear apart a differential plan on having a local shop do it so the preload is set correctly.

The only other difference is sometimes the bolts on the CV axle flanges, most use a bolt+nut, some used a thread flange. You can order new axle bolts from Nissan if you end up with the wrong ones.
