Help! 05 g35 won't move!
The car was up on front jack stands for about a month while my son & I tried to change the Y pipe. The car did roll back from where it was (the driveway slopes).
Today, my wife was going to drive it to the mechanic's, but it wouldn't engage any gear (Drive or Reverse). The is a puddle of tranny fluid on the drive where it was up on the stands.
I put my code reader on it, and no transmission codes (just a P0303 misfire on cylinder 3)
What is the issue?
Low tranny fluid?
Something more serious?

Get the transmission fluid set to the right level and pray that's all that's wrong. Seems like a good place to start. Does the indicator on the dash even indicate what gear you're in even if it doesn't engage and drive? Like can the car tell when you shift from P to R -> N > D etc.?
If you're 1/2 quart low on transmission fluid it's not going to go into gear.
What probably happened was from it sitting on jackstands at an angle for so long the fluid probably seeped past the transmission output shaft seal and dripped onto the ground. At an angle the fluid will be covering that rear output shaft seal instead of sitting down in the oil pan where it belongs. That rear seal isn't really designed to be holding back fluid while submerged, it's more to prevent incident fluid that's slung to the rear of the case from seeping out. Or if that seal is already a little worn it might be seeping a tiny bit normally but sitting at an angle caused a significant amount to leak out.
Nissan Matic J or Matic S fluid only. Try to use either Genuine Nissan fluid or Idemitsu brand (they were the OEM manufacturer for Nissan ATF). The generic "compatible with Nissan Matic S or J fluid" ones don't usually have the correct friction modifier and the car will shift weird.
Get it sitting flat, pull the tranny dipstick while cold and see where it's at, I think there's a cold mark on those dipsticks. Use that for reference to get it back up to normal level. You will still need to check the fluid level while hot to determine if it's ACTUALLY a little low or not but the cold mark reference will get it into gear.
As for the P0303, let the engine warm up and see if it clears, or pull the plug on that cylinder and look for obvious signs of wear.
