So a few days ago my car (06 coupe, 6mt) started making a worrying rotational knock from the rear drivers side. I’ve checked my driveshaft for play and the suspension components, while checking I noticed the drivers side CV axle had a good amount of up and down play at the input shaft (the side closer to the diff). This play only occurred the drivers side axle, the axle has no visible tears on the boot so could this be an issue with the diff itself?
