Help 2006 g35 will not rev in park or drive

I recently purchased a g35 non hr and the car starts fine idles fine and has no lights on the dash, yet it will not rev past 2000 rpm. I’ve tried resetting the ecu and it looks like it has a new throttle body but im not sure how to test it has anybody had anything like this any help is appreciated.

Only a problem in P or D? So N or R is ok? I assume you don't get throttle in any position but just want to be clear what your problem is.

Get a tool that can check for codes and read live data ( for example a $10 wireless obd interface and a free app for your phone). If you have something going on with the accelerator pedal position sensor or the ecu commanded throttle position or the actual throttle position feedback where they don't correlate, you'll get a code that will point you in the right direction. You can look at live data to see if your throttle input makes sense or if the car just doesn't see your throttle input at all. Are your brake lights on without your foot on the brake? Stuck brake switch can cause a limp mode that will restrict your throttle input but it should be a % throttle input rather than a RPM limitation.

No its in all gears PRNDM I’ll have to get a live data tool I took it to a dealership there’s no codes and they didn’t really tell me anything I’ve never looked at the lights is there any way I could just unplug the brake sensor to test it
