That's right bro. The higher the #, the higher the multiplication > higher rpm's > faster acceleration.
but < top speed, and < mpg's.

I would venture to guess that you could change the rear end gear to accomodate your desires.....If they even make such a ring gear and pinion set for this car---if it even uses that simple design....I am not sure it if does, but most rear wheel drive cars do.

The higher the ratio the quicker you will get to top speed.
The lower the ratio, the more top speed you will get, thus dropping the rpms down for your mileage considerations.

According to my ESM, the model # is: RE5RO5A .. Don't know if the O is a letter or number.
Appart from the Sedan, I believe the same tranny is used in the 'Q'. Not sure if the new Max has the same one too.
