Hey, this looks like the best write up on instructions ive seen! I am about to go install my z-tube and popcharger now. Is it only an hour for our ECU to reset when we take off the neg cable to our battery?

just disconnect the neg cable while you install and you'll be fine - no real need for anything further.

good luck!

Thanks for the instructions!!! It made it a lot easier than it would have been w/o them. The pop charger and z-tube make the sound a lot deeper than I expected, and the chirp sounds like a blow off valve...ITS BADASS!

ran a search on "pop-charger" came up on this thread and just wanted to say it's great! Thanks for the great write ups! I especially like the "overview" section as it gives you a great background on the product and what it can do.

so they say. again, nothing that you'll notice. personally it was more a sound and looks mod.

be prepared for some low-end/off-the-line power lose - as is typical of WAI/CAI's like this in my experience.

mine is for sale if you want it

don't get me wrong, pop and z tube are great, first step, inexpensive enhancements - don't regret installing mine at all. but if you truly want to "unlock some power" and have a real budget = keep looking.

you should disconnect your negative battery cable while doing ANY engine work for safety reasons. this act alone WILL "reset the ecu".
